Atlas ExpansionĀ adds five modules toĀ Mare Nostrum - Empires.
The first one, theĀ Atlante empire, adds a 6th player, including a game board expansion (increase map size by 50%), Atlas starting hero, 8 legions, 5 triremes, 5 fortresses, 7 control markers, 5 leadership markers, 9 ressources, forum mat, player screen and 5 new heroes.
The threeĀ Legendary citiesĀ modules each include 6 new heroes and wonders (some with a figurine and counters), 3 objectives and 15 events.
TroyĀ emphasizes the military aspect of the game andĀ SyracuseĀ the economic one.Ā JerusalemĀ introduces a divine aspect.
These first 4 modules can be combined in any way.
Finally, theĀ Punic warsĀ extends also the player count with a scenario for 2 players. It adds a Barbarian faction (a special set with 3 triremes, 3 fortresses, and 8 Barbarians hordes) which will be a neutral faction controlled by both players in Rome-Carthage war.
